FAQ
1. Is Hasina your real name?
Yes.
2. Can I advertise on your blog?
Sorry. I want my blog (and the comment section) to be ad-free.
3. Why don’t you talk more about your home/DIY/decor/renovation projets?
I love interior design and making my home look great makes me happy, but it’s just a tiny part of my life. I don’t blog to please a certain demographics. I write about anything that I’m interested about, from art and interior design to food and travel. If you like what you read, you’re more than welcome to hop along.
4. You do a lot of DIY and I like the way you decorate your house. Would you mind sharing details like how-to’s, your budget and your decor and organization tips and tricks?
Thanks. I’ll try but I only have so many hours in the day. Plus I don’t consider myself an expert so I’m not really in a position to give advices.
5. Why do you keep on changing your blog design? I liked the previous design better.
This blog is my playground. And I have design ADD.
6. Minimalism is boring. Why did you decide to focus on minimalism instead of house renovation projects?
See n.3: I love interior design and making my home look great makes me happy, but it’s just a tiny part of my life. I don’t blog to please a certain demographics. I chose minimalism as a way of life, and this blog is my tool to help me stay on track. If you like what you read, you’re more than welcome to hop along.
7. Why and when did you decide to become a minimalist?
I was a shopping enthusiast like a lot of people, but I’ve always had a tendency to purge my stuff on a regular basis because I don’t function well in chaos. The older I grew the more I hated shopping and clutter. Two years ago (in 2008), I made a conscious decision to embrace minimalism as a way of life, and I haven’t looked back.
8. You’re a minimalist? Does it mean your house is perfectly uncluttered?
I wish! I’m working towards a minimalist house free of unnecessary stuff bought just for display. It’s a work in progress.
9. Wanna be blog friends?
Sure.
10. Can I add you to my Facebook and Twitter contacts?
Sorry, I no longer use Facebook and I don’t have a Twitter account.
11. How can I contact you directly?
Email me at hasinafr[at]hotmail[dot]com. Or leave a comment.
